Sound familiar?
You worked this hard because you wanted a better life for your family. But somewhere along the way, the work that was meant to create that life started following you into it.
Your laptop is closed, but your brain is still sitting in tomorrow’s meeting.
Your kid is telling you a story and halfway through you realise you haven’t heard the last thirty seconds.
A completely normal question from your wife lands like one more demand.
‘In a minute’ turns into forty. Again.
The weekend arrives, but your head never really leaves the working week.
As the demands grow, most ambitious men simply try harder. Eventually patience gets shorter, attention narrows and switching off becomes harder.
You do not need a smaller life. You need to be able to live inside the one you have.
The private coaching experience
No group calls. No generic curriculum. No parade of frameworks. Just focused 1:1 coaching built around your pressure, your family and your week.
See where work, recovery, behaviour and family life are colliding—and identify what actually needs to change.
Rebuild the sleep, capacity, boundaries and practical systems that give you more to work with when the day gets heavy.
Turn the work into real life: switch off, protect the moments that matter and show up as the man your family actually gets to experience.
We meet privately each week, adapt the strategy as we learn what works, and finish with a clear plan you can continue without becoming dependent on coaching.
What changes
Finish work without carrying tomorrow’s problems through the front door.
Bring more energy, patience and attention home at the end of the day.
Be easier to reach—for your kids, your partner and yourself.
Perform well professionally without asking your family to fund the cost.
Fit matters
Private coaching works when the problem, person and timing line up.
Who you’ll work with
I was the bloke who could hold it together everywhere except where it mattered most.
I was trying to build something real while still making school drop-offs, pick-ups and bedtime. Work needed me. My family needed me. I could feel the gap widening and kept telling myself it was temporary.
My background is in performance physiology and coaching—how stress, sleep, recovery, breathing and behaviour affect the way people perform. The Ambitious Dad brings that work into the moments ambitious fathers actually care about.
Because your pressure is personal. Private coaching means more attention, faster adaptation and a strategy built around your actual life—not the average needs of a group.

The first step is a short application. If it looks like I may be able to help, we’ll have a straight conversation about what is happening, what you want to change and whether working together makes sense.
No aggressive close. No manufactured urgency. If it is not a fit, I’ll tell you.
Work hard. Dad harder.
